The unsolved mysteries of my jewellery box

This bag was given to me by my mum. It has this repetitive pattern of a woman in this wonderful almost goddess form. The design looks as if it was painted on, with the use of light and shade to create the drapery she is wearing. I take this bag around with me to many places.

But what makes this bag so personal to me?
My desk and I have a great relationship. There are lots of random little strange things on my desk and much more fascinating things within the cupboard of it. Here is a sketch of my chaotic desk. I have numbered and labelled what I can see in front of me.

Mary Poppins is a film that I watched many times growing up. The floral carpet bag that could contain so much used to always fascinate me. Watching this scene again brings back memories of the excitement of when she first brings out that hat stand at both the childrens jaws drop with amazement
